These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern all transactions made on Retinovaskin.com.

ARTICLE 2 — PURPOSE AND SCOPE

These GTCS govern the sales of products made by Retinova Skin via its website Retinovaskin.com (hereinafter "the Site").

Any purchase on the Site implies unreserved acceptance of these GTCS. The customer acknowledges having read them before validating their order.

Retinova Skin reserves the right to modify these GTCS at any time. The applicable GTCS are those in force on the date of the order.

ARTICLE 3 — PRODUCTS

3.1 — Characteristics

The products offered for sale are described on the product sheets of the Site with their essential characteristics, in accordance with Article L.111-1 of the Consumer Code.

The product photographs are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a perfect similarity with the delivered product, particularly concerning colors.

3.2 — Cosmetic nature of products

The products marketed by Retinova Skin are cosmetic products intended for external use on the skin. They are in no way medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

3.3 — Medical advice

Information regarding the use of the products is provided for informational purposes only. It does not in any way substitute professional medical advice.

Before use, the customer is invited to:
→ Carefully read the instructions and precautions for use
→ Perform a tolerance test on a small area
→ Consult a dermatologist in case of doubt, skin pathology, known allergy, pregnancy or breastfeeding

3.4 — Availability

Product offers are valid as long as they are visible on the Site, within the limits of available stock. In case of unavailability after ordering, the customer will be informed by e-mail and can choose between a refund or waiting for replenishment.

ARTICLE 4 — PRICE

Prices are indicated in euros (€) all taxes included (TTC), excluding delivery charges.

Delivery charges are specified before order validation.

Retinova Skin reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the price in force at the time of order validation.

ARTICLE 5 — ORDER

5.1 — Ordering process

→ Selection of products in the cart
→ Validation of the cart and identification (customer account or guest order)
→ Choice of delivery method
→ Choice of payment method
→ Final validation and payment
→ Confirmation by e-mail

5.2 — Order confirmation

Once the order is validated and payment is made, the customer receives a confirmation e-mail summarizing the ordered products, the total amount and the delivery details.

5.3 — Order refusal

Retinova Skin reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of:
→ Existing dispute with the customer
→ Suspicion of fraud
→ Obvious price error
→ Invalid or incomplete delivery address

ARTICLE 6 — PAYMENT

6.1 — Accepted payment methods

→ Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
→ Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
→ PayPal
→ Klarna
→ Bancontact

6.2 — Security

Payments are secured by our payment provider (Shopify Payments) with 256-bit SSL encryption. Retinova Skin has no access to any banking information.

6.3 — Payment validation

The order is only validated after payment confirmation by our payment provider.

ARTICLE 7 — DELIVERY

Delivery conditions (areas, deadlines, costs) are detailed in our Shipping Policy, an integral part of these GTCS.

ARTICLE 8 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with articles L.221-18 to L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.

⚠️ EXCEPTION FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for sealed products that have been unsealed (opened) after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.

This exception applies to ALL Retinova Skin cosmetic products.

ARTICLE 9 — WARRANTIES

9.1 — Legal guarantee of conformity

In accordance with articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the seller is obliged to deliver goods that conform to the contract. The customer has a period of 2 years from the delivery of the goods to act.

9.2 — Warranty against hidden defects

In accordance with articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code, the customer benefits from a warranty against hidden defects that render the product unsuitable for its intended use. The period is 2 years from the discovery of the defect.

ARTICLE 10 — LIABILITY

10.1 — Limitation of liability

Retinova Skin's liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.

Retinova Skin cannot be held responsible for:
→ Indirect damages (loss of operation, loss of profit)
→ Non-compliant use of the product with instructions
→ Unpredictable individual skin reaction
→ Cases of force majeure

10.2 — Use of products

The customer is solely responsible for the use they make of the products. They undertake to comply with the precautions for use indicated on the packaging and in the user guide provided.

ARTICLE 11 — PERSONAL DATA

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, an integral part of these GTCS.

ARTICLE 12 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All elements of the Site (texts, images, logos, brand, PDF guide) are the exclusive property of Retinova Skin and protected by intellectual property law.

Any unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

ARTICLE 13 — FORCE MAJEURE

Retinova Skin cannot be held responsible for a breach of its obligations resulting from a case of force majeure (natural disaster, carrier strike, pandemic, major IT failure, armed conflict, governmental decision).

ARTICLE 14 — DISPUTE RESOLUTION

14.1 — Attempt at amicable resolution

In case of dispute, the customer is invited to contact our customer service first: contact@retinovaskin.com

14.2 — Consumer mediation

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the Consumer Code, the customer can use a consumer mediator free of charge.


14.3 — European online dispute resolution platform

In accordance with European Regulation 524/2013, the European Commission provides an online platform for dispute resolution:

14.4 — Competent jurisdiction

Failing amicable resolution, any dispute relating to these GTCS will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the French courts, in accordance with the rules of common law.

ARTICLE 15 — APPLICABLE LAW

These GTCS are governed by French law.
